Open Rails: The Open Rails simulator platform allows for more detail and functionality to be built in to each locomotive and rail car, as well as the routes they run on. It takes advantage of today's graphics processors and more efficiently displays content with far higher frame rates on your computer.

For MSTS users: many locomotive sets on this website require the MSTS Bin Update for the Night Cabs to work automatically, and for the Throttle-up sounds to function properly.
